After many critically acclaimed tours & International festival performances, Drummer Kevin Brady continues his collaboration with the innovative U.S. pianist Bill Carrothers. The Kevin Brady Trio featuring Bill Carrothers make their long awaited return to perform at JJ Smyths Jazz & Blues Club on Thursday the 14th of August.

After many critically acclaimed tours & International festival performances, Drummer Kevin Brady continues his collaboration with the innovative U.S. pianist Bill Carrothers. Brady has many years of experience playing with some of lreland’s most prominent trios including Organics, The Phil Ware Trio and more recently The Tommy Halferty Trio.

This a perfect opportunity for the audience to hear some fine exponents of the jazz piano trio as two of Ireland’s leading talents perform with one of the USA’s great modern improvising musicians.

The trio has to date performed both nationally & Internationally since 2007 performing in the U.K Germany,Austria,Portugal. Their music has been critically acclaimed throughout the world. To date Brady has released two critically acclaimed studio album's entitled ‘Common Ground’ and his 2010 recording ‘Zeitgeist‘ which was released with record label Fresh Sounds New Talent.

On this occasion the trio will be performing a selection of new compositions which will feature on their latest studio album. The album will also feature ECM recording artist/lyricist & vocalist Norma Winstone.
