Described as the greatest Norwegian saxophonist since the legendary Jan Garbarek, Marius Neset did much to live up to such high praise last year when the release of his second CD ‘Birds’ confirmed the arrival of a player and composer of rare depth and talent.
His album appeared on numerous ‘best of 2013’ lists, while his live shows have established Neset as a genuine new European jazz star.
